Expelled! challenges you to clear your name by catching the culprit or framing someone else

Authore: RileyUpdate:Mar 17,2025

A girl has been pushed from a window at Miss Mulligatawney's School for Promising Girls, and you, Verity Amersham, are the prime suspect. In Expelled!, the gripping new mystery from inkle (creators of Overboard!), you have one day to clear your name – or frame someone else.

Set in April 1922, you play Verity, a scholarship student navigating the treacherous social landscape of an elite boarding school. Voiced by Amelia Tyler (Baldur’s Gate 3), Verity’s carefully constructed reputation is shattered by this shocking accusation.

This isn't your typical choose-your-own-adventure. Every decision – your actions, location, conversations – dynamically shapes the narrative. Characters move and react in real-time, creating a living, breathing school environment. Alliances shift, betrayals unfold, and trust becomes a precious commodity.

ytSolve the mystery legitimately, or employ deceit and manipulation to secure your freedom. Forge alibis, shift blame, and exploit the vulnerabilities of those around you. The more you bend the rules, the more paths open up.

Each playthrough offers a unique experience, lasting approximately 30-45 minutes. Your choices unlock new clues, lead to diverse outcomes, and reveal hidden secrets within the school's walls. Uncover the mysteries of the locked cellar, your friend's secretive behavior, and even strive for the prestigious position of Head Girl.
