Arkveld and More Monster Hunter Wilds Content Coming in Patch 7.35
FFXIV director Naoki "Yoshi-P" Yoshida and producer Toshio Murouchi kicked off the presentation by announcing Patch 7.35's launch date: October 7, 2025. The update will introduce major content including:

Players can look forward to new daily quests featuring the Yok Huy tribe and the Pilgrim's Traverse deep dungeon. Additionally, the popular Hildibrand storyline continues with fresh adventures in this update.
After detailing these features, the team revealed the highlight: a special trial battle against Arkveld, Monster Hunter Wilds' flagship monster. Monster Hunter Wilds producer Ryozo Tsujimoto and executive director Kaname Fujioka joined the stage to present details about this challenging collaboration content.
Arkveld Trial: Windward Wilds Gameplay Preview
Viewers enjoyed an exclusive first look at the Arkveld trial, where Yoshi-P and Fujioka attempted to conquer the beast. Mirroring Monster Hunter Wilds gameplay, Arkveld delivers rapid, relentless attacks adapted uniquely for FFXIV's raid mechanics.
The battle features dynamic mechanics including moving area effects, unconventional attack patterns, and unpredictable movements. The difficulty proved so intense that the team initially failed before eventually succeeding on their second attempt.
Exclusive Rewards and Additional Content
Completing the raid unlocks special Arkveld-themed weapons inspired by Monster Hunter Wilds, along with the Hope Armor set featuring customizable dye variants. Yoshi-P also revealed exclusive mounts and minions including the Seikret mount, Emergency Cart, and adorable companions like the Baby Seikret and Vigorfly.
FFXIV x Final Fantasy Tactics: Ivalice Chronicles Crossover
Celebrating Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles (2025 remaster), FFXIV will introduce special costumes modeled after iconic characters Ramza Beoulve, Ovelia, and Gaffgarion. Players can also obtain orchestration rolls featuring classic FF Tactics music.
This content launches September 30, available exclusively through the online store. All items will be ready for immediate in-game use after purchase.
