Freedom Wars Remastered: Maximizing Your Combat Item Loadout
Freedom Wars Remastered offers diverse loadout options, but Combat Items, being consumables, often require strategic management. This guide explains how to equip more Combat Items and where to acquire them.
Equipping More Combat Items
Initially, you're limited to one Combat Item. To increase this, you need Entitlements:
- Access the "Window On Liberty" in your cell.
- Select "Claim Entitlements."
- Navigate to the "Equipment" section.
- Locate the "One-Item Permit" (found by tabbing to the right). Subsequent permits allow equipping up to four Combat Items.
These permits become available as you progress. By CODE level 3, you should be able to purchase all four. Note that later permits unlock only after purchasing the preceding one. Equipping a Combat Item uses your entire stack of that item at the operation's start. Your Accessory slot can also hold one Combat Item for independent use.
Acquiring More Combat Items
After completing the early missions, access "The Warren" HUB area. Within The Warren, find "Zakka," a store located on the upper level's right side. Here, you can purchase Combat Items:
- Munitions: Items that directly inflict damage.
- Medical Supplies: Items for healing, ailment removal, or ammo replenishment.
Individual Combat Items can be expensive in Entitlement Points. Bulk purchasing requires significant resources. While Operations sometimes reward Combat Items, this isn't a reliable farming method due to the time investment and potential consumption exceeding gains.
