Sway State Games has unveiled Into a Hearth Yonder, an upcoming cozy creature-collecting MMO-lite featuring vibrant visuals, scheduled for PC release next year.
In Into a Hearth Yonder, players—whether solo or cooperatively—will journey through the world of Viteria accompanied by automata, adorable companions that enhance gameplay through combat boosts, farming assistance, fishing perks, mining efficiency, and crafting support. Chris O'Kelly, studio head at Sway State, shared, "We wanted to bring player stats and skills to life through Tamagotchi-style automata. Collecting and nurturing them becomes rewarding as they improve your exploration, quality of life, and preferred playstyle."

O’Kelly continued, "Our goal was to create a relaxed adventure where players can progress at their own pace—filled with building, crafting, exploration, and magic. Think ‘survival’ mechanics but without the stress—just pure, leisure-driven gameplay."
The development team includes veterans from acclaimed projects like Divinity: Original Sin, Dying Light 2, Harold Halibut, and Horizon: Call of the Mountain. Those intrigued can wishlist Into a Hearth Yonder on Steam.
