The Hill Troll resides within a hidden cave nestled on the mountainside in Bahlgar. The easiest route is from the Lakeshire elevator. Descend to Bahlgar as you would to encounter Beastmen, but instead of jumping down to them, follow the mountain's wall. Pass two platinum deposits, then scan the mountainside for a cave entrance. You'll need to jump into this opening—a mount is highly recommended. While it might seem tricky at first, it becomes easy with practice. Hill Troll – Strategy, Loot, and Quest
Despite its intimidating appearance, the Hill Troll is a relatively manageable mini-boss, though you'll likely face it repeatedly.

Conveniently, it respawns after only 90 seconds. The Hill Troll attacks with a slow but powerful pillar.
