Monster Hunter Wilds Beta Extended Due to PSN Issues

Authore: SamuelUpdate:Feb 20,2025

Capcom extends the Monster Hunter Wilds beta test due to a PlayStation Network outage. The PSN outage, lasting approximately 24 hours, starting Friday, February 7th at 3 PM PT, prevented online gameplay. In response, Sony compensated PlayStation Plus subscribers with five extra days of service.

The Monster Hunter Wilds beta, originally scheduled from February 6th to 9th, was significantly impacted. To compensate for the lost playtime, Capcom announced a 24-hour extension to the next beta session.

The revised beta dates are:

February 13th, 7 PM PT / February 14th, 3 AM GMT – February 17th, 6:59 PM PT / February 18th, 2:59 AM GMT

Capcom confirmed that participation bonuses, redeemable in the full game, remain available during this extended period. Despite the outage, beta participants had the opportunity to engage with the new monster, Arkveld.

Monster Hunter Wilds officially launches on February 28th, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. For more information, including details on multiplayer, weapon types, and confirmed monsters, consult IGN First coverage and our comprehensive Monster Hunter Wilds beta guide.
