Mortal Kombat Mobile welcomes back the iconic guest character, Spawn!

This McFarlane-created anti-hero returns, modeled after his Mortal Kombat 11 appearance. He's not alone; MK1 Kenshi is also joining the fray soon. This update boasts three new Friendship finishers and a Brutality.

Mortal Kombat Mobile, the popular mobile adaptation of the legendary fighting game franchise, receives a major update with the addition of Spawn. Todd McFarlane's anti-hero joins the roster alongside a classic version of Kenshi (from MK1).

Spawn, aka Al Simmons, is a murdered soldier who bargains with the Devil for his return to Earth. He becomes a vigilante with powerful supernatural abilities, potentially a harbinger of the Apocalypse.

Created primarily in the 90s (though its origins predate that), Spawn is a flagship character from Image Comics, a highly sought-after guest character for Mortal Kombat, and previously appeared in Mortal Kombat 11.

A Hellspawn-sized update! Alongside the new Kenshi variant, Spawn's arrival is sure to excite both Spawn and Mortal Kombat fans, despite some players' reservations about mobile versions.

Spawn, based on his MK11 design, is currently available in Mortal Kombat Mobile. The update includes three new Friendship finishers, a Brutality, and challenging new Hellspawn dungeons. Download it now on the iOS App Store and Google Play!

A bittersweet note: Just before publication, news broke of the alleged dismissal of the entire Netherrealm Studios mobile team. Sadly, Spawn's addition might be their final contribution.
