Riot Games still wants its MMO, but it is not even close to the finish

Riot Games' co-founder, Marc Merrill, recently shared his vision for the future at the DICE Summit. A key focus is the highly anticipated League of Legends and Arcane MMO.

Merrill emphasized his personal investment in the project, citing his passion for the MMO genre as a crucial element for its potential success. He also highlighted the strong desire among League of Legends players for deeper immersion within the game's rich universe.

While details remain scarce, including a release date, Merrill playfully suggested a launch before humanity's first Martian landing. The feasibility of this prediction remains uncertain.

It's important to note that another League of Legends title is currently under development: 2XKO, a fighting game. Unlike the MMO, 2XKO has already unveiled trailers and is slated for release before the year's end.
