The Sims 4's Blast from the Past event presents players with rewarding, yet challenging tasks. One particularly tricky challenge involves breaking and repairing an object. This guide provides a straightforward solution.
Week 2's challenge requires raising your Sim's Handiness skill to level 2 or higher and then repairing a broken object. While skill enhancement is relatively simple, locating a broken item proves more difficult. The easiest method is to intentionally break an object.
Instead of using the "prank" interaction (which requires specific traits), repeatedly use an inexpensive item until it breaks. The Ambassador toilet is an ideal choice; using it approximately a dozen times will cause it to malfunction. This can be achieved by your Sim or by having guests use it.
Once the toilet is broken, simply select the "Repair" option (requires Handiness level 2). After a short time, the repair will be complete, fulfilling the challenge requirement.
