Hulu has announced that the upcoming sixth season of Solar Opposites will be its last. The final season is slated to premiere sometime during the last three months of 2025.
While Solar Opposites was renewed for a sixth season in mid-2024, the announcement did not initially reveal that it would also be the show's finale.
Since its debut in 2020, *Solar Opposites*, an adult animated sitcom, has followed the escapades of an alien family forced to relocate to Earth after their home planet is destroyed.Created by Mike McMahan (Star Trek: Lower Decks) and Justin Roiland (Rick & Morty), Roiland's involvement ended in 2023 following domestic violence charges, which were later dropped. Dan Stevens has since taken over as the lead voice actor.
