Rinascita offers numerous intriguing discoveries, including challenging puzzles like Morph Paintings. These paintings are integral to two puzzle types: Overflowing Palettes and restoration tasks.

Morph Painting restoration puzzles are straightforward and rewarding, providing valuable resources such as Astrites in Wuthering Waves. This guide outlines the mechanics, locations, and solutions.

Restoring Morph Paintings in Wuthering Waves

Restoring Morph Paintings involves placing the correct portraits onto designated pedestals. Examine the pedestal descriptions, locate the matching portrait, and use the Levitator utility to position it. The game usually auto-equips the Levitator, but you can manually equip it using Tab/D-Pad Left if needed.

Currently, two such puzzles exist, integrated into the "Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise" and "Trials of Old" quests.

Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise Morph Painting Puzzle

This puzzle, within the "Shadows of the Past" questline, is located in Resounding Rise, one of the three Thorncrown - Thessaleo Falls towers. Solve it as follows (using the central painting as a reference):

  • Interchange the front-left and back-right paintings.
  • Move the painting behind the left pedestals to the back-left pedestal.
  • Move the painting behind the right-side chairs to the front-right pedestal.

Upon completion, a chest appears, allowing quest progression.

Trials of Old Morph Painting Puzzle

This puzzle, part of the "Trials of Old" quest near Porto-Veno Castle (eastern Thessaleo Fells), is found within the Trial of Wisdom. Arrange the paintings on the pedestals to create a narrative sequence from left to right. The solution is depicted in the image above.

A simple way to verify correct placement is to observe if the painting frame illuminates upon insertion. This shortcut bypasses the puzzle's core mechanic.
