Le studio indépendant britannique Bithell Games a licencié la majeure partie de son équipe à temps peu de temps après la sortie de son jeu d'action à boucle temporelle Tron : Catalyst, invoquant des tentatives infructueuses pour sécuriser un autre projet de développement majeur.

Avant ses projets Tron, Bithell Games s'était fait connaître pour le RPG tactique John Wick Hex, suite à des percées initiales avec les indépendants acclamés Thomas Was Alone et Volume.
